All caves are handmade.
They were tested over and again in cooperation with breeders of Loricariides and Dwarf Cichlids and therefore they were well tuned for the necessity of the different species.
After air drying for several days the edges of the caves were cut and then bisque fired at approx. 1000 degree.
Finally they were checked for sharp edges.
All specified sizes are with minor deviation because clay can change variously within drying and firing.
