Chlorine and Chloramine removal

Aquadrakon EL catalyzes the degradation of chlorine to chloride and oxygen. Because this process takes a certain amount of time it's important to let the treated fresh water rest when there's a high chlorine content.

In Germany a maximal chlorine content of 0.3 mg/l is tolerable. In exceptional cases (f.e. flooding or flash floods) the value may be exceeded for a short time.
Beyond Germany the tolerable chlorine content for drinking water may be considerably higher.

When the chlorine content is about 4 mg/l for example, a minimum waiting time of 8 hours must be adhered to before using the treated fresh water.

Interaction

Because Aquadrakon EL can not differentiate between good and bad heavy metals, other supplements like our plant fertilizers should not be used until the clouding subsided. Otherwise it's possible a part of the nutrients could be adhered unwantedly by Aquadrakon EL so the plants wouldn't get the nutrients any more.
