Fertilizer

To be flexible for all individual practical needs our fertilizer system was developped as a modular system. The main focus is composed of our full iron fertilizers Ferrdrakon and for clear, intensely lighted plant aquariums KramerDrak. The daily fertilizer Daydrakon for highly increased need of iron, the full potassium fertilizer Ferrdrakon K for potassium-needing plants and the macro nutrients fertilizer Eudrakon N or Eudrakon P (nitrate, ammonium, phosphate) supplement the essential parts of the modular system on demand.
Both of the complete fertilizer Ferrdrakon and KramerDrak are also available as effort-saving and always perfect dosing Power-formulation. Based on the Aquafim^®-carrier the absolute equably release of fertilizer is set for 2 or rather 3 months.

Area of Application

Daydrakon serves as an addition to the basic supply provided by Ferrdrakon, where an increased need for iron is caused through the use of a trickle filter, UV water treatment or through extreme strong plant growth caused by lighting (strongly lit pool!).

Area of Application

Ferrdrakon serves as a standard full iron fertilizer and delivers the basic supply of iron and trace elements required for every standard pool containing plants, without any further special characteristics.

Area of Application

Some intensively planted and lighted pools (also “Holland pools”, “Flower borders” etc) with a moderate till low fish population need, in comparison to the majority of typical aquariums, a supplement to the basic food stuff nitrogen - N (Eudrakon N), phosphorus - P (Eudrakon P) and potassium - K (Ferrdrakon K) for plants.

Long Term Fertilizer / Full Iron Fertilizer - Automatical Daily Fertilizing

According to the size of the aquarium the fertilizer reserve consists of a hand-full of material, ready for application and packaged in a plastic mesh-bag. The material system (Aquafim^®) itself is non soluble and does not give-up any undesired substances into the water. Once in usage, day after day a measured amount of fertilizer is released. Through this constant steady release there is no so-called “increased step of concentration”, what has a positive effect on both plants and animals - and all that without having to purchase an expensive and sensitive electro-mechanical dosage pump.
